The Traditional Lawn Care Program incorporates seven applications:
- Traditional Spring I (January-March)
This liquid fertilizer application nourishes your lawn, while controlling crabgrass and broadleaf weeds. This application is an excellent source of nitrogen.
- Traditional Spring II (March-May)
This liquid fertilizer application provides your lawn with an excellent source of nitrogen, while controlling crabgrass and broadleaf weeds.
- Traditional Summer I (May-June)
A slow-released liquid fertilizer application, it is your lawn’s source for iron and micro-nutrients, while control for weeds are applied where needed.
- Traditional Summer II (July-August)
For proper Ph adjustment, Solu-cal®, your lawn’s source for calcium, is used because it activates quickly. Controls for weeds are applied as needed.
- Traditional Fall I (August-October)
Specifically formulated to coincide with fall aeration and overseeding, this application is a high phosphorus, granular fertilizer. It provides your lawn with slow-released feeding that is beneficial to new seedlings as well as established turf.
- Traditional Fall II (October-November)
This application is a granular fertilizer to keep your lawn looking fresh and green throughout the fall.
- Traditional Winterizer (November-January)
The cold weather months are the time of the year when food sources are stored in the root system of the turf in preparation for the spring growth explosion. This winter application fertilizes your lawn with a nitrogen source to keep it looking green while promoting health root growth.
